The 6Million Steps Adventure

6000 Km walk from the Arctic to Santiago (Spain).

 

Two friends, the photographer Andrés Fraga and the climber Juan Rivas (Coru) are doing a unique journey. In late April 2010 they departed from Cape Nordkapp (Norway), inside the Arctic Circle, with the intention of walking more than 6000 Km (3728 mi) to the Spanish city of Santiago de Compostela. They will travel on foot through eleven European countries and estimate six or seven months to complete the journey. Its purpose: to share their adventure in real time through Internet with texts, photographs and videos posted on social networks, blogs, youtube, flickr and their own web page. They have called this initiative "Six Million Steps." Andrew explains it in this video:
